The Scientific Conference of the Surgical Society of Ethiopia was held on May 15 at the Inter Luxury Hotel, Addis Ababa, under the theme: “Overcoming Barriers: Integrating Science and Technology into Surgical Care in Ethiopia.”
This year’s conference featured more than 40 oral abstract presentations and, for the first time, 7 poster presentations. The improved quality of the papers and the strengthened evaluation process were a true testament to the dedicated work of the Abstract Selection and Research Committee, whose members generously volunteered their time and expertise as colleagues committed to advancing surgical science in Ethiopia.
